What is the Washington Families Clean Energy Grant Program?
This is a one-time, $200 credit for eligible Tacoma Power customers. These credits will be applied until funding runs out. This is a grant from the Climate Commitment Act (CCA). The CCA supports Washington’s climate action efforts by putting cap-and-invest dollars to work reducing climate pollution, creating jobs, and improving public health. Information about the CCA is available at climate.wa.gov.
Eligibility
These funds are available to customers whose annual income does not exceed 150 percent of the area median income, as listed in the table. Qualifying customers will receive a one-time credit of $200 toward the power portion of their utility bill.
This application must be filled out and signed by someone on the Tacoma Power account no later than September 2, 2024.
