Internships
If you’re looking for real-world experience to apply the skills you’ve learned in school, you’ve come to the right place.
TPU offers students unique opportunities to develop professional skills as they collaborate with experienced staff across the organization on meaningful projects. Students are able to grow their skills and our staff benefits from the ideas, approaches, and innovations students bring. Our interns have the opportunity to learn about TPU history, visit our various facilities, and network with their peers.
We offer a variety of internships throughout the year for both high school and college-level students. Internships are paid and vary in length. Our engineering interns earn more than $25 an hour.
You can explore the pay, eligibility, and other details of each internship and apply online through the CityofTacoma.org/Jobs website.
