Clean Buildings Incentive Program Workshop

Last month, Washington’s Department of Commerce launched the Energy Audits for Public Buildings program and House Bill 1976 was signed into law. The Energy Audits Program is exclusively for publicly owned buildings and has been funded to assist with energy audits where required by the Clean Buildings Performance Standard, and can be used with other opportunities, such as the Early Adopter Incentive Program. House Bill 1976 authorizes Commerce to fund incentives greater than the base incentive payments under the Early Adopter Incentive Program for eligible buildings subject to compliance under the Clean Buildings Law. Learn more by attending this workshop. The Department of Commerce will discuss and solicit comments on the incentive program updates and introduce the verified energy auditor network.
