Tacoma Power customers now have three ways to save on an electric vehicle for a limited time. Combine these offers to save thousands!
Tacoma Power customers and employees are eligible for a rebate of $3,500 on the 2019 Nissan LEAF 40 kWh Standard and of $2,500 on the 2019 Nissan LEAF 62 kWh ePlus.
As a proud member of The American Public Power Association (APPA), Tacoma Power – along with almost 2,000 other public power utilities across the United States – can offer exclusive rebates on the all-electric 2019 Nissan LEAF.
To claim the APPA rebate, Tacoma Power customers and employees must download this flyer and take it to a local Nissan dealer, along with proof of eligible residency and a current electric bill. All APPA rebates expire September 30, 2019.
Earn up to $500 with Tacoma Power’s EV Charging Study
We have recently launched a two-year study to better understand the charging patterns for residential EVs. In exchange for completing surveys and providing data about EV charging and use, qualified customers may be eligible for up to $250 per year.
To be eligible, customers must be a residential Tacoma Power customer, own or lease a fully battery electric vehicle or plug in electric hybrid, and own their own EV charging equipment.
Washington State reinstates EV tax exemption and adds exemption for used EV purchases
Beginning August 1, Washington State will provide a sales and use tax exemption on sales or leases of certain electric passenger cars, light duty trucks and medium duty passenger vehicles – including used.
